Just bought some 12mm hardwood WPB ply for the engine box at £19 per sheet and its of better quality than some of the marine ply that I have been offered. Cut up some pitch pine on the sawbench this morning, will have to go and shower now as I (and everything around me) now stink of burnt pitch. Will post some photos of engine box asap.

Wood obtained at "Southern Timber" on the Totnes to Newton Abbott rd About 10 miles from here. The laddie in the warehouse is quite happy to go through the sheets to find the best ones for boatbuilding applications.
