Went to the cottage this Thanksgiving Weekend (Harvest Festival for UK), but we had a gift overnight, and I never got my coble out....

I really enjoy looking at snow. In much the same way, I enjoy looking at photos of sun soaked beaches. However, I know from my time in Oz that the heat is not quite so nice in the middle of summer, even though the photos look cool.

My guess, from having flown out of Aberdeen, Scotland, for four years, is that the scenery at the cottage is wonderful - provided you don't have to go out in it. That cabin is absolutely beautiful and looks like it would be nice and cosy with that fire lit. Fabulous hideaway. Move over, Peter, I want a slice of that, you lucky dog. :approval:

Actually it is in this case, but that there are worse places by far to be out into.
Heading North (850km drive) on Monday for another instrumentation install. Why is it never in the summer?

It should be fun though with just two of us (no big team this time), and plenty of hours (money). There is a wolf and 5 bears in the area this year, so I may get some good photos of them.
