Our most distant members are in Australia and New Zealand where, as I post, the New Year is about an hour away.
Time, then, for us to wish all our members all the very best for 2009. May you all have power in your boatbuilding 'elbow' and fair winds in your sails in the new year.
As a great believer in fate and fortune, I think the world is still a beautiful place and our universe to be unfolding precisely as it should. There's no doom and gloom in our home as we welcome in another year of our wonderful life on this planet.
Have a great time seeing in 2009 everyone, and please join Jeannette and me in a little of your favourite tipple, drinking to the warmth and happiness still to come.
